Empathy Health LTD are a new company and we are seeking dedicated Support Worker's and care staff to join our team, in the North Wales area. The ideal candidate will provide excellent communication skills, while ensuring you provide personal assistance and support roles, to individuals in various settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, private mental health hospital's, own patient home care environments. This role requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalised support and compassionate care.
Duties
Provide patient care and support to individuals with diverse needs, including those requiring Alzheimer's care, dementia care and Mental Health care.
Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
Engage in supportive behaviour management strategies to promote a positive environment for clients.
Support clients with mobility, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Maintain accurate records of client progress, follow care plans as described and report any changes in health or behaviour to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
Facilitate social interactions and activities that encourage mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
Drive clients to appointments or social outings as needed, ensuring safe transportation.
Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care tailored to each client's needs.
Experience
Previous experience in assisted living, senior care, or hospice care is highly desirable, however we will look at staff who would like to start their journey into health care. You will need to be registered with Social Care Wales or be willing to apply
Familiarity with caregiving practices, including first aid and basic nursing skills.
Experience working with individuals with special needs or behavioural challenges is an advantage.
A background in childcare may also be beneficial for those supporting families with children requiring assistance. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others while working within a supportive team environment.

Pay: 13.00-26.00 per hour
