to complete a wonderful new team! You'll be supporting a lady with a spinal cord injury who leads a busy, active lifestyle and enjoys the outdoors.
She lives in her family home with two young children, and your role will be to help her embrace life to the fullest while making each day enjoyable and meaningful.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fresh, motivated, and dynamic care package. Experience with spinal cord injuries is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Roles Available:
Full time - 2 shifts per week
Shift Pattern:
Each shift is 26 hours long and will include a sleepover at night
Pay Rates:
16.00 per hour weekday day rate
17.00 per hour weekend day rate
80.00 per sleepover
1.00 per hour less during probationary period
Role Responsibilities:
Providing personal care and medication support
Supporting with daily living tasks and household duties
Accompanying the client on outings and occasional family holidays

Essential:

Previous care experience

Job Purpose:
To support your client with their day-to-day living, promoting their independence and supporting them to live a fulfilled life ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times.
Internal and Management:
This role will report to: Registered Manager/Care Manager
Key Duties/Responsibilities for our Support Workers:
Supporting your client to safely lead a fulfilling and more independent life by:
Provide practical support for your client and their family, such as helping with personal care, cooking, household tasks and paperwork
Assist and encourage your client to engage in everyday home, social, leisure and work activities, according to the individual's choice
Support and monitor your client's healthcare needs, including administering medication and other clinical tasks
Help your clients to access community facilities and be included in community groups, if they so wish
Understand their communication needs and adapt your own communication style accordingly
Keep accurate, up to date records of all the care you provide
Work positively with other professionals, such as doctors and therapists, to ensure consistency of support
Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
Participate in learning and development opportunities as required
