We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care to individuals in various settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and home care environments. Duties



Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support Provide specialised care for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or other cognitive impairments Support patients with medication administration and health monitoring in accordance with care plans Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements Engage in behaviour management techniques to promote positive interactions and stability Offer emotional support and companionship to clients of all ages, including children and elderly residents Drive clients to appointments or outings as required, maintaining safe driving practices Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment Assist with mobility and heavy lifting tasks safely to prevent injury Support families through hospice or end-of-life care with sensitivity and respect

Requirements



Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments is highly desirable Knowledge of patient care techniques, including dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice, and senior care Certification or training in first aid and medication administration is advantageous Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform physical tasks as needed Valid driving licence for transportation duties Strong communication skills with the ability to manage behaviour effectively Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful and dignified care Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as required

N14 Area - 9-11am then 5pm-7pm

Hours will increase for the right carer/support worker

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour
