Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential assistance to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities and private homes. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalised care and support tailored to their unique needs.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality service user care to individuals in need of support, including adults 18+ with complex mental health challenges ,learning disabiltiies, alzheimer's and dementia. Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration. Provide companionship and emotional support to service users, fostering a positive environment. Engage in behaviour management techniques to assist service users with challenging behaviours. Perform heavy lifting when necessary to assist service users with mobility or transfers. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in service user condition to the appropriate personnel. Ensure a safe and clean environment for service users by adhering to health and safety regulations. We operate as a 24 hour service provider and all staff will be required to undertake shifts

Experience

Previous experience in assisted living, senior care, hospice care, or home care is highly desirable. Familiarity with complex mental health diagnosis's is advantageous. Training or certification in relevant areas such as first aid or medication administration is a plus.
