We are seeking Residential Support Workers, Seniors and Team Leader to join us on our journey. Posts are full time; part time, bank staff and night shift, and we offer flexibility of hours to meet professional and personal need.

Service Details



Our children's Home in Middlesborough is located in a semi-rural area on two acres of land. The Home is spacious and can provide long term care for up to 8 children aged between 8-18 years old.

Children who come to live with us live in an environment of care and support that gives attention to their individual needs and works with them to help them to stay safe, be healthy, make a positive contribution, and develop their own resources, to help them achieve economic well-being.

Staff work with children to provide them with a combined framework of care, which includes social and recreational activities in the Home, educational activities and lessons and therapeutically informed parenting

About You:

Enhanced Young Persons Services has a robust training package which will contribute towards your professional growth.

Skill base is broad, and applications are also invited from those who have experience of caring for their own or other children, even if that is currently, recently or many years ago. We recognise that personal experience can bring a wealth of knowledge and resources.

Requirements



You are expected to have completed, be working towards or be willing to work towards NVQ/Diploma Level 3 Health & Social Care (or equivalent) or a similar qualification for working with vulnerable people

Experience working in a similar setting with children and young people is essential.

Must be at least 22 years of age to work in this setting (4 years above the oldest home member)

A satisfactory DBS check and references checks as part of our Safer Recruitment process.

The Right to work in the UK full time without Sponsorship.

Full UK Driving licence.

Responsibilities include:



You will be expected to fully support the Manager in ensuring the home operates as efficiently as possible whilst maintaining the highest quality of support. You will support the team in delivering positive outcomes for children, starting every day with a fresh outlook and the passion to make a difference. You will provide support to children and to families within the home and in the wider community. Ensuring that the safety and welfare of children is always the focus of the work we do. You will be expected to work flexibly across the service and with other agencies, partners, and stakeholders to meet the needs of children.

Salary

:

Salary and grades will be determined on evidence provided through your application form, the interview process and certificates.

Support Worker grade A 13.00 Support Worker with NVQ (Qualified) 13.50 Senior grade B 14.00 Team leader, grade C 15.00
