We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home care environments. Duties

As a Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. Providing companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Supporting individuals with mobility challenges, including heavy lifting when necessary. Administering medication as prescribed and monitoring health conditions. Engaging clients in recreational activities to promote mental and physical well-being. Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in client condition to senior staff. Driving clients to appointments or social activities as required.

Experience

The successful candidate should possess:

Previous experience in patient care or similar roles, particularly working with individuals with learning disabilities and autism, is highly desirable. CPI training and experience in dementia care settings would be advantageous. A caring and patient demeanour with strong interpersonal skills. The ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being capable of working independently.

A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for the role
