About Us
Curaliving is a well-established
OFSTED-approved
organization providing semi-supported living services in the Northwest and Milton Keynes area. We work with young people aged 16-18, helping them develop essential life skills, independence, and mental health strategies as they transition to adulthood.
We are currently seeking dedicated
Support Workers
to join our team and contribute to the positive development of young individuals in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete daily logs, incident reports, support plans, weekly reports, and other required documentation to a high standard.
Provide practical support to young people in tasks such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, shopping, housekeeping, and managing appointments.
Participate in weekly staff training sessions.
Collaborate with Social Workers and external agencies to provide effective support.
Confidently manage and address challenging behaviors.
Safeguard and protect young people, adhering to organizational policies.
Guide young people with tailored support to enhance self-esteem, promote independence, prepare CVs, and foster positive mental health.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Passionate about making a positive impact on young people's lives.
Experience in semi-supported living (preferred) or with young people.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding and whistleblowing procedures.
Proven ability to provide high-quality support to young individuals.
Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or higher (preferred).
Excellent communication and proactive problem-solving skills.
Confident and effective in managing challenging situations.
