Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care and assistance to individuals in need, including those with disabilities, the elderly, and those requiring support in their daily lives. Duties

As a Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being. Supporting clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs. Assisting with medication management and ensuring adherence to prescribed regimens. Conducting light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment. Maintaining accurate records of client progress and care provided.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

Previous experience in home care or assisted living settings is preferred but not essential as training can be provided. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when assisting clients with mobility. Certification in First Aid is highly desirable. A valid driving licence is essential Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with a compassionate approach to care. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.75-17.50 per day
