We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Neuro Rehab Assistant to join our team in Aylesbury. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside and receive hands-on training from our highly skilled neuro therapists, including specialists in neuro physiotherapy, psychology, occupational therapy, and more.
In this rewarding role, you'll support an individual with complex care needs, helping them achieve their goals while promoting independence, dignity and quality of life. You'll also have the unique chance to accompany the client and their family on holidays abroad, ensuring they can enjoy meaningful experiences with the right support.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver person-centred care in line with individual care plans.
Support with clinical needs including medication, therapeutic moving & handling, and managing challenging behaviour on occasion.
Work closely with the family and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide holistic, goal-driven care.
Support access to education and vocational opportunities.
Monitor, record, and report on service users' health and wellbeing.
Promote dignity, respect, and independence at all times.
Accompany and support the client and their family on trips, including international holidays.
About You
Previous experience in a care setting, ideally supporting individuals with acquired brain injuries and challenging behaviour.
Experience working with complex care needs.
Full UK driving licence.
Strong and clear communication skills and a genuine passion for delivering compassionate care.
Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check (support provided).
