Support Worker

Full Time and Part time hours available (16 -37.5 hours per week)

Flexible shifts over a 24/7 week, 365 days a year (Incl. weekends, bank holiday's and sleep in shifts on a rota basis)

12.25 per hour rising to 13.25 per hour subject to completion of a satisfactory skills assessment after 6 months.

As a Support Worker, you'll be engaging directly with those we support, inspiring fun and creativity whilst encouraging independence and allowing individuals to live, happy, healthy and fulfilling lives.

The Role:

To support individuals to meet their goals and outcomes in health, wellbeing and independence. Assist individuals with their personal, social and healthcare needs as required whilst maintaining accurate records. To work as part of a team as well as lone working within the community as needed. Work with allocated individuals as their keyworker. Interact and communicate with the people you support in a way that promotes dignity and respect. Support individuals with everyday tasks as required.

What are we looking for?

Motivated, honest and approachable individuals who are great at building and nurturing relationships. Experience of providing high levels of care and support to those with learning disabilities in a social care setting. Aspirations to develop skills at support worker level and beyond! Flexibility to work shifts 24/7, 365 days a year including weekends and bank holidays as well as sleep in shifts on a rota basis. Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care is desirable but training will be provided. A full UK driving licence with access to a motorised vehicle is essential
