Shifts available Monday- Sunday, working 2-3 days per week plus 2 nights per week. You will need to work alternate weekends, with opportunities for additional shifts to cover sickness and annual leave.

About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team and provide high-quality 1:1 support to a female adult client. She lives with a long-term health condition requiring regular monitoring, has a moderate learning disability, and controlled epilepsy.
You will support her both at home and out in the community. She enjoys a variety of daily activities including horse-riding, swimming, bowling, and trips to the local theatre. We're looking for someone who can bring enthusiasm, confidence and encouragement to help her get the most out of each day.
Our clients requirements/ Person specification
Experience providing 1:1 support to individuals with learning disabilities, both within the home and out in the community
Ability to prepare modified- diet meals in line with individual dietary needs
Confident swimmer
Experience delivering personal care, ensuring dignity and respect at all times
Willingness to support community- based activities, promoting independence and social inclusion
Competency in medication administration in accordance with care plans and safety procedures
Confident around animals
Ability to carry out basic household chores to support daily living
Contract type
: Zero hours contract. Contracted hours may be considered following successful completion of probation.
