Who We Are
Bank House Care Home accommodates up to 34 residents and supports safe staffing levels to ensure that residents within our care have access to support as needed whilst maintaining all aspects of their care needs.
About the Role
We are seeking 2 experienced, Care Assistant for night shifts
Key Responsibilities
Perform regular checks on residents to ensure and support their safety and comfort Aid with personal care needs like bathing, oral care, continence care and dressing Respond promptly to emergencies and notify senior staff Respond promptly to calls for assistance from residents via call bells/sensor mats Maintain accurate records of care and incidents Monitor health conditions and obtain professional medical support as needed Complete light cleaning and laundry overnight Communicate effectively during handovers with day staff Collaborate with team members Provide companionship and reassurance to residents at night Engage with residents to support mental well-being and build trusting relationships
About You
Committed, supportive, and caring attitude Experience in a care home setting, preferably with vulnerable adults Knowledge of moving/handling, safeguarding, dementia, GDPR Familiarity with digital care planning systems Flexibility
