Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Ash Tree House. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital part in enhancing the lives of our residents by providing personalized support tailored to their individual needs, helping them achieve their goals and aspirations.

Responsibilities of the Support Worker

Assist individuals with daily living activities to promote independence. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions. Implement behaviour management strategies to support positive outcomes. Engage residents in activities that enhance their quality of life. Maintain accurate records of care provided and progress made. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans. Encourage social interaction and participation in community activities.

Ideal Support Worker should have

Experience in a similar role within residential or supported living settings is preferred. Strong understanding of medication administration and patient care protocols. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to manage challenging behaviours effectively and compassionately. A caring attitude with a commitment to empowering individuals.
