12.60 per hour
Nights Shifts: 20:00 - 08:00 (week 1 x3 shifts/week 2 x4 shifts) Working on a two week rota.
Must be flexible on days worked.
Belmont Road is located in the picturesque town of March, in Cambridgeshire. It offers residential support for 13 adults with a primary learning disability diagnosis, who may also be on the autism spectrum. We are dedicated to focusing on positive outcomes for each person we care for and helping them to have a healthy, happy life, as independently as possible, within a safe and caring environment.
What you'll be doing

Your positive attitude and passion for providing high quality care and support will be your key strengths, but you'll also have a friendly, patient and positive approach to work.
As a Support Worker, you will assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents. You will provide support with day to day activities, whilst encouraging and promoting independent living. As part of our team, you'll help people reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support, making a positive difference to their lives.
Supporting with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and preparation of food
Performing light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, changing bed clothes and laundry
Assisting with safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of individuals
Observe, monitor, and record physical and emotional well-being, and quickly report any changes to senior staff
Updating support records and handover records using the digital system Nourish and quickly report any changes to senior staff
Supporting the development of important family connections and liaising with specialists
Encouraging participation in social and recreational activities that promote involvement and personal growth

A healthcare qualification is desirable, but not essential
