Who you'll be supporting & more about the role:

We all like different things but are all very proud of our own bedrooms and our bright personalities! We all enjoy a variety of activities; some of our favourite things to do are baking, visiting the cinema, cooking, arts and crafts, swimming and shopping! And our toys or even a drive out and about. We all love visits from family, all animals, the TV soaps and films, and music. Some of us need more support than others.



All of us like to explore our local community by going out to the shops, walking around the local park in warmer weather, going out for meals and visiting our friends. Two of us own cars, so we love to get out and about.



Collectively we are all real characters! We have strong personalities and all enjoy a laugh and a joke and enjoy a giggle.


We live in a lovely four-bedroom situated in Eastwood and we share the kitchen, and living space, although we all have our own separate rooms. There is a big garden where we spend a lot of time weather permitting, enjoying a BBQ, playing games.



Our house is on a quiet road, with lots of bus routes, a shopping area and a park close by. We have a driveway at our house, as well as space available for on street parking.



There are several bus routes close to our home. When we choose to take taxis instead of the bus, it takes us approximately ten minutes to get into the city centre. We love to go shopping in Arnold and going out to eat or have a coffee and a cake!



Depending on the day, we usually have between 2-3 staff members on shift at any time. We all have 1-1 support on different days of the week and one of us currently attends a day centre, so staffing numbers during the day often varies.


Overnight we have two staff members on waking night shifts.

Day shifts are 07:00 -14:30 and 14:30-22:00, and night shifts are from 22:00-07:00.
