Support Worker

This is a great role for someone looking for a new challenge at a company that cares about you! Working as part of a specialised team at our clients house in Llangollen, you will provide complex care to a young gentleman. You will need to have an NVQ Level 2 to be considered for this role. Full & Part Time positions available.

PLEASE NOTE: Our pay rates are exclusive of holiday pay meaning you also get paid for when you take holidays, unlike some roles advertised on indeed.

Shifts

Monday to Sunday on a rolling rota including sleep ins.

Duties

- Provide support and assistance to individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities
- Help individuals participate in social and recreational activities
- Accompany individuals to appointments and outings
- Monitor and report any changes in behaviour or health status
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for individuals

- Provide medication when required (PEG etc)

Requirements

- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not essential

- NVQ Level 2, Level 3 preferred but not essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends
