MY HOMECARE CAMBS LIMITED, a leading home care agency in Peterborough, is seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team. Our mission is to provide high-quality, personalised care to individuals in their own homes, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

Personal Care:

Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

Healthcare Support:

Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and report any health concerns to relevant healthcare professionals.

Domestic Assistance:

Help with household tasks including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and shopping.

Companionship:

Provide emotional support and engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their quality of life.

Mobility Support:

Assist clients with mobility, including the use of aids and equipment, and support during physical exercises.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in clients' conditions.

Communication:

Liaise with clients' families, healthcare professionals, and other team members to ensure coordinated and effective care.

Safety:

Ensure a safe environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines and reporting any hazards or incidents.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent. Training will be provided for candidates willing to undertake this qualification.

Experience:

Previous experience in a care role is preferred but not essential. We welcome applications from individuals new to care who possess the right attributes.

Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Empathy, patience, and a compassionate nature. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Other:

A valid UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle is desirable but not essential.

Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 37 per week
