Role Overview

As a Support Worker, you will provide tailored support to adults living with neurological conditions, promoting independence, safety, and community engagement. This role involves structured daily planning, emotional support, and practical assistance with everyday tasks and outings.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the service user in line with their care plan, focusing on safety, structure, and confidence-building. Accompany the service user to community activities and social events. Promoting healthy lifestyle habits. Provide reassurance and calm support during or after seizures, following agreed safety procedures. Assist with practical daily tasks such as meal preparation and shopping. Encourage participation in activities without applying pressure. Respecting autonomy and personal boundaries. Maintain accurate and timely notes on wellbeing and activities as required by the care plan.

Requirements:

Experience in a support or community care setting. Full UK driving licence (willing to drive client's vehicle) Physically fit and comfortable supporting an active lifestyle. Calm, reliable, and respectful of privacy and independence. Enhanced DBS check will be required, we can assist with this.
