is a small residential home based in Milford Haven. We are a charity that provides care and support for people with learning disabilities within their home environment.

As a Support Worker no two days will be the same. Each day is varied, unique and incredibly rewarding.

Responsibilities

To work in a person centred way, respecting and promoting peoples choices, dignity, privacy and independence To provide support with all daily activities to suit the wishes and aspirations of individuals To support and encourage individuals to maintain relationships and access community based activities. Trips out to the beach, local attractions and cafe's are a regular part of the role Maintaining and supporting with health care needs, including attending appointments and administrating, monitoring and recording medication Teaching life skills such as managing finances, independent travel & shopping Assisting with personal care Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking

What we offer

13.00 per hour plus 73.50 a night sleep in fee!

Hours

16 hours per week, with shifts including weekends, days and waking nights.
A drivers license is desirable due to the nature of the role.

A qualification in Health and Social Care would be an advantage, but is not essential.

A Disclosure and Barring Service check will be carried out on all offers of employment.
