What you'll do:
Support people with a range of mental and learning disabilities to live as independently and confidently as possible.
Help with everyday tasks like personal care, preparing meals, taking medication, and keeping their home comfortable.
Encourage and assist people to get involved in their communities, whether that's social activities, learning, volunteering, or work.
Be a trusted presence, offering emotional support and helping to build confidence and life skills.
Work closely with families, colleagues, and health professionals to make sure each person gets the right support.
Keep clear, accurate notes and always follow our guidelines to keep everyone safe, respected, and well cared for.

What you'll bring:
Essential:
Must have some previous relevant sector work experience involving working with those with mental health needs and/or those with learning disabilities (1 Year Min)
Desirable:
In-depth understanding of working with individuals with mental health needs.
Knowledge of Supported Living placements and an understanding of risk management that comes along with this.
Previous training/CareSkills Academy completion.
Preferable to have a UK Driving License*

Strong communication skills and patience when working with seniors or individuals with complex health conditions
Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful and person-centered care
Valid driver's license is a plus for community-based support roles
