We have a fantastic opportunity for a PBS & Autism Support Worker to join our dedicated team based in Pencoed, Bridgend. In this pivotal role you will be assisting and encouraging people in supported living to become integrated members of their local community, promoting physical and social participation.




Holding a full UK driving licence is preferred but not mandatory



We support a gentleman in his 50s that has Autism and lives alone. We are looking for a support worker who can encourage them to do more - both in their home and within the local community. They enjoy going shopping, visiting cafes and going for a pub lunch and visiting family. They require help with personal care and daily tasks around the house.




So who are we looking for? .... Someone who is calm and will take the time to help this gentlemen express themselves. They like people who are fun to be with and will help them try out new things

What You'll Do

As a Support Worker, you will:


Support people to do the things they enjoy, try new experiences, and live good lives. Assist with household tasks, shopping, meal preparation, personal care, and maintaining routines. Encourage and support people to strengthen relationships with family, friends, and their community. Work alongside professionals such as social workers, nurses, and occupational therapists to ensure people receive the best support. Listen to the people you support and support them to make choices about their lives.
