We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential care and assistance to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role involves working closely with clients to support their daily activities and enhance their quality of life. We are residential care and EMI.
Duties
Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
Help clients with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions.
Maintain accurate records of client care and progress.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individual care plans.
Engage in behaviour management techniques to support clients with specific needs.
Qualifications
Previous experience in care, home care, or senior care is highly desirable.
Knowledge of first aid practices is essential; additional training may be provided.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
A caring and patient attitude towards individuals requiring support.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Level 3 in Social Care or working towards.
