We have an exciting opportunity at Crwban Care and Support for a support worker to join a engaging and motivated care team. Where a typical week can include, cooking, swimming, scooting, visiting places of interest in the area, going to museums and lots more!

This is a permanent role with weekly hours to suit with contracts available for 0 hour, 24 hour, 36 hour and 42 hour per week positions as well as the option to join our Bank Group for the flexibility to pick up shifts around you. We provide 24/7 support and have various length shifts available including 4 hour, 5 hours, 8 hour, 12 hour, sleeping and waking nights.

Crwban Care are offering our Support Workers 12.50 per hour.

Crwban Care and Support Ltd provides care to adults and older childrenwith mental illness, autism and learning disabilities. The accommodation in which you will provide care and support is classified as 'Supported Living'. Our accommodation is staffed 24 hrs a day with trained Support Workers (that's you!) - or 'Crw Members' - who are passionate about helping our clients meet their potential and live life to the full. Our accommodation is in a community setting, where individuals can begin to rebuild their confidence and independence in a normal, everyday environment.

Your focus as a support worker is to provide individuals with the appropriate amount of support they need to live as independently as possible. You will encourage our clients to plan for the future that they want, without limitations.

You will be supported by our hands on management and motivated to grow and develop within your role with Crwban. As a Support Worker you will provide support and enable individuals to live the life they choose: to make choices, to express themselves and live as independently as possible. The duties are varied and no two days will be the same. The people we support are individuals and they are all treated as such.

Your duties can include:



To support individuals / groups within the accommodation and community. To provide a customised, responsive and high quality service to people with are living with ill mental health To deliver services which meet or exceed organisational expectations and standards. Your required skills and experiences:



You don't need to have previous experience in this field, nor do you need qualifications - we're happy to work with you to help you become an excellent support worker. You should be a kind and caring individual who is able to work dynamically. Knowledge of mental health/learning disabilities is beneficial. Full person specification is attached below.
