```Duties```
-To be the first point of contact for all telephone calls and visitors to the YMCA and to deal effectively with all queries.
-To ensure that only authorised persons have access to restricted areas and that residents follow the visiting policy.
- To deal with emergencies appropriately and complete all necessary paperwork .
-To ensure that information is relayed to appropriate staff members efficiently
- To provide a detailed handover to day/night staff to ensure an excellent level of communication is maintained
- Provide support and assistance to individuals in their daily activities
- Help with meal preparation
- Monitor and report any changes in the individual's condition or behavior
- Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals

- Organisational skills
- The ability to communicate clearly and sensitively when dealing with residents.
- Time management skills to be able to support the needs of multiple individuals.
- First aid: Knowledge of basic first aid procedures and ability to respond in emergency situations
- Patient care: Ability to provide compassionate care and support to individuals with various conditions
