young adults aged 18-25 with learning disabilities and associated needs

Key Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate, respectful personal care and emotional support
Support residents with daily living tasks (e.g. cooking, hygiene, budgeting, life skills)
Encourage social engagement through activities, hobbies, and community access
Promote independence, personal choice, and positive routines
Work proactively to safeguard the health, wellbeing, and rights of every resident
Accurately record care, behaviours, and daily progress
Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and your team to deliver high-quality, consistent care
About You:
A strong commitment to safeguarding, dignity, and respect
Passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities
Caring, empathetic, and a great team player
Reliable, flexible, and willing to work shifts (including weekends and nights)
Open to learning, with a proactive and positive attitude
Belief in value-based care and person-centred approaches
Desirable:
NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it)
Experience supporting individuals with autism, complex needs, or behaviours that challenge
Minimum 1 year of experience in care
Full UK driving licence
