Residential Support Workers
for a unique opportunity supporting a young person in a
solo residential setting
in Reading. This one-to-one role offers the chance to make a significant, lasting impact in a young person's life.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver trauma-informed, therapeutic care tailored to individual needs
Support emotional regulation, mental health challenges, and behaviours of concern
Use de-escalation techniques and physical interventions when required (training provided)
Maintain structured routines and emotional safety in a solo care environment
Assist with daily routines, personal care, and independent living skills
Participate in key working sessions and contribute to care planning
Work collaboratively within a skilled, supportive team
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in residential childcare, therapeutic care, or mental health support
Confidence in managing complex behaviours using trained intervention strategies
High emotional resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure
A proactive, responsible approach and strong teamwork skills
A deep commitment to supporting young people who have experienced trauma or adversity
