Support Worker, Respite Services (Wakefield)

As services that operate 7 days a week, 365 days a year, our Clarence Gardens and Cypress Road services in

Wakefield (West Yorkshire)

offer essential respite care for adults with autism, learning disabilities, and/or physical disabilities.

We're looking for

Support Workers

to be primarily based at the respite services. However, there may also be opportunity to work across the wider Avalon services in West Yorkshire therefore candidates must be able to

reliably travel

within the Wakefield Area.

Shifts are varied so

full-time, part-time, and casual contract

options are available. As part of this, there will be an expectation to work split shifts (7am-11am and 2pm-10pm).

As a Support Worker, you'll be part of an experienced and passionate team delivering vital support to our customers, including personal care and administration of medication. In this Short Breaks service, your support will also be providing valuable respite for our customer's friends and family - this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference within your community.

You don't need any previous experience or qualifications
