Healey Care Ltd is an established, family-owned company located in Rochdale. We are looking for a passionate, dedicated, and hardworking individual to join our team in Waterfoot.

We are seeking strong experienced support staff to work in our exciting services based in Waterfoot. The service will consist of large, well maintained CQC rated Good Residential homes for Adults with Learning Disabilities caring for vulnerable adults who have multiple diagnosis's including Learning Disabilities and/or Autism that may present with behaviour that challenges. Our clients are long term and settled and have an amazing rapport with support workers who look after them.

We also have our very own amazing Day Centre for LD Adults serving the Whitworth and Rossendale area.

The ideal candidate will be strong minded, calm under pressure, proactive, caring and can lead by example. Working within a similar role support adults with complex behaviours is desirable and full training will be given.

You will be working in a 24-hour Residential living setting. There are flexible shift patterns available, rotational between days and nights. We offer plenty of overtime and Sleeps if you want to bump up your monthly wage! There's also opportunities to cover at our other homes too building your wage up for the Christmas period.

We require a driver to transport our clients on days out.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities by providing assistance with daily living activities. Assist individuals with disabilities in obtaining needed medical care, as needed. Provide transportation for clients to and from appointments in a professional manner. Using pool cars. Maintain the vehicle and equipment in good condition and follow all safety procedures. Follow communication guidelines for individuals receiving assistance from Healey Care Ltd. Remain professional at all times when interacting with fellow employees or the public Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Ideally, you will have some experience or have gained your Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care, however, we will also recruit staff with no experience if you show passion and the values a support worker requires to work in care.

You will need a full UK driving licence and show you can easily travel to and from work.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
