is looking to recruit a Support Workerto join the team.This is a

Full time

role.

12.60 per hour (24,570 per year)

40 Hours per week with a mixture of Days, Nights & Weekends on a rotational basis




Priory Bishops Gate is a residential service, located in St. Leonards-On-Sea, East Sussex. We provide support to males and females between the ages of 18 and 65, who are on the autistic spectrum, have learning Difficulties and Trauma informed care. We aim to help residents create and achieve personal goals, in order to lead a fulfilled and enriched life.


It would be ideal if you have previous experience gained in a similar role. However whilst this is valuable, we are looking for individuals who display the right values and behaviours in order to make a difference to people's lives. You should be keen to learn and show compassion to care for the people we support.

What you'll be doing





You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our residents wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As a Support worker

,

you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents



Supporting with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and personal care Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed clothes Assistance and support to attend medical appointments Observe, monitor, and record physical and emotional well-being, and quickly report any changes to senior staff Encouragement to participate in social and recreational activities Promote Independence
