We are excited to be recruiting permanent full time and part time support workers to join the team based in Scorton, North Yorkshire, to assist in providing 24 hours care and support, which will enhance the quality of life of the people using the service. We'd love to hear from you if you have (or are willing to attain) a Level 2 in Care and experience working with vulnerable adults, including providing personal care, participation where necessary in social activities, outings and holidays with people using the service.
Responsibilities
Provide a high quality of care and support to people who use the service
Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, medication administration, and personal hygiene.
Monitor and document resident progress, ensuring adherence to care plans and budgets.
Engage with residents to promote social interaction and mental stimulation, maximising their independent abilities.
Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Act as a keyworker, designated to individuals in order to effectively co-ordinate their support
Person Specification:
NVQ2 in Care
Full clean UK driving licence
Experience of working with vulnerable adults and developing personal care plans
Good communication skills with ability to work as part of a team with honesty and integrity.
