Overview:
We are currently seeking a caring and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. We will only accept applications from candidates with a driving licence and use of a car. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support to service users mainly in the Hamilton, Larkhall and Carluke areas. This position requires excellent communication skills, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to individuals in their homes or when out in the community
- Assist with shopping
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with the individuals
- Follow care plans and ensure the individual's safety and well-being at all times

Requirements:

- Driving licence and use of car
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Ability to work with individuals of diverse backgrounds and varying levels of independence
- Knowledge of dementia care is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision

-Work one weekend on and one weekend off

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.75 per hour
