As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and assistance in various settings. Responsibilities

Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status. Support clients with mobility needs, including heavy lifting when necessary. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to senior staff or healthcare professionals. Driving to appointments, shopping and social functions which will include out of hours. Carrying out weekly home cleaning. Any and all duties to maintain independent living

Skills

Experience in assisted living. Strong background in patient care with an understanding of the unique needs of disabled individuals. Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams effectively. Ability to drive and transport clients when required. A caring attitude combined with patience and empathy towards individuals facing physical or cognitive challenges. Capability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of client support tasks.
