The Role

As a Support Worker, you will:

Provide

high-quality, person-centred support

tailored to each individual. Build

consistent, trusting relationships

with residents to promote safety and stability. Encourage

independence and life skills

through daily activities and structured routines. Support residents with

DBT-informed approaches

, helping them manage emotions and build resilience. Assist with personal care, mealtimes, medication, and accessing the community. Respond calmly and compassionately to challenging situations. Work closely with colleagues, families, and professionals to ensure the best outcomes.
What We're Looking For

Essential:



Compassion, reliability, and emotional resilience. Ability to form positive relationships with people who have complex needs. Willingness to learn and use DBT and trauma-informed practices. Strong communication skills. Flexibility to work a range of shifts (including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins).

Desirable:



Experience supporting adults with Autism, Learning Disabilities, or Mental Health needs. NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards). Awareness of trauma-informed practice / DBT. Training in First Aid, MAPA (or equivalent), Medication Administration. Full UK driving licence.
