Who you'll be supporting & more about the role:




This an exciting opportunity for caring, compassionate and talented support workers in Southport, to come on board and help support many people within the community.

This service is usually supporting a mixture of adults, with a range of additional learning needs, such as: Learning disabilities, mental health, autism, asperges & wheelchair users.
Each person supported here either live independently or at home with family, so our Outreach team provide 1:1 support at home and also out in the community.

People supported within this service enjoy going bowling, going to the zoo, attending the cinema, going out for meals and visiting various shops.
Plus, they would also need support with medications, cooking, attending appointments, travel training and participating in activities within the local community.

They would all describe themselves as unique and outgoing & they would love their support workers to motivate them to get involved with new things.

This vacancy is for 24 hours per week (Tues - Fri 10-4pm) & to support a young man on a daily basis. His needs include Autism, OCD and limited communication. The majority of time, this role will include supporting the gentleman with outside activities and also on a farm.
