Liberte Healthcare are recruiting Support Workers to support vulnerable adults within their own home.

The homes are based around the WA9/WA10 area.

These are weekend shifts, the shift patterns required are 7.30am-1pm, 4.30pm-10pm, 8am-8pm and 8pm-8am.

This is a very rewarding role, the ideal candidate will have previous experience working within the Health and Social Care sector.

Requirements for role:

- Must have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to complete a DBS check

- Must be willing to complete our training prior to starting.

-Excellent communication skills.

-Confident in provided personal care, if required.

Responsibilities:

- To provide customers with all aspects of personal care including washing, shaving (electric) oral care, hair care and dressing.

- To assist with the prompting and administering of prescribed medication as directed

(including tablets, syrups, inhalers, cream, lotions and patches).

- To provide safe and appropriate methods of assisting customers with mobilising, changing

- To provide support and assistance in meal preparation as directed (including preparation of snacks, hot, cold and pre-cooked food). To assist customers to eat & drink adequately.

- To provide support and assistance to customers to maintain their home by undertaking (if directed) light domestic duties such as hovering, dusting, pots, ironing, laundry bed changing. Position and using manual handling equipment - in accordance and risk assessments.
