Shift Patterns:


Current available shifts are in the afternoon and at the weekend
7-2pm, 2-10pm 7-3pm, 3-10pm

A long day 8-10pm at the weekend or 8-3pm / 3-10pm

Sleep in 10pm-7am weekdays

Sleep in 10pm-8am weekend

Possibility of working at the weekends (alternate)

About the Role:


At St Matthew Road, we support 8-10 individuals with varying levels of support needs, promoting independence and skill-building. As a Support Worker, you will play an essential role in helping individuals live fulfilling, independent lives. Your responsibilities will include supporting with personal care, medical appointments, community activities, and much more. You will also assist with 1-1 support, ensuring each person has access to the care they need and deserve.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist with personal care and nutritional needs Support individuals in making healthy lifestyle choices Provide 1-1 support as needed Administer medication and maintain accurate records Support individuals in accessing the community and participating in social activities Help with food shopping, laundry, and other household duties Participate in social activities and support individuals in attending day centres Provide emotional support and act as a positive role model Attend training sessions and staff meetings

Essential Criteria:



A full UK driving licence Basic IT skills Experience in a residential care setting Knowledge of autism, learning disabilities, and safeguarding adults Ability to work as part of a team and take on individual responsibilities Willingness to work towards a Care Certificate (if not already obtained)
