We are looking for several experienced residential support workers in Uttoxeter for a 4 bed children's home that looks after young people with EBD and LD and the associated behaviours that challenge. The basic salary is a 33,000 to 35,000 which = 17.19p to 18.23p per hour, and 55 per sleep-in.
The home is situated 17 miles from Stoke, 15 miles from Stafford, 12 miles from Ashbourne and 13 miles from Burton on Trent.
About the home:
Located in a quiet residential area within a well-connected market town in Staffordshire, our new four-bedroom children's home provides a safe, warm, and thoughtfully designed space for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and learning disabilities (LD).
The home sits in a peaceful neighbourhood with nearby parks, schools, and community facilities, offering a sense of stability and belonging while maintaining privacy and security for the young people in our care.
Inside, the property blends modern comfort with homely character. A large, open kitchen and dining space encourages shared routines such as cooking and eating together, while two living areas offer both a social hub and a quieter space for reflection. The interior design has been carefully chosen to promote calm, familiarity, and wellbeing.
Each young person has their own spacious bedroom, tailored to meet their individual needs and preferences, with opportunities for personalisation and privacy. An additional therapeutic room provides a quiet, comfortable space for one-on-one sessions or self-regulation.
