Sunny Bank PRS (Psychiatric Rehabilitation Service) is a CQC-rated 'Outstanding' service supporting individuals with mental health needs. We provide a fully integrated rehabilitative psychiatric service, including residential care, day care and supported living.
Our aim is to deliver person-centred, rehabilitative residential care for up to 21 residents who require medium to long-term support. Many of our clients progress to semi-independent living within the community. We also offer day care and support across 3 supported living properties in Bury (located close to our main residential home).

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated
Support Worker
to work at our main home, Sunnybank PRS.
Applicants
must have previous experience
in mental health residential care
and hold a
Level 2 or 3 Diploma (or equivalent)
in Health & Social Care. The role involves working
37.5 hours per week
, including evenings, weekends and one sleep-in shift per week. Sleep-in shifts will be required following successful completion of a 6-month probation period.

Key Responsibilities
Report to the Registered Manager & Director
Support clients across Sunnybank PRS and our supported housing properties.
To assist the Director and Registered Manager and other staff in the daily running of mental health services
To assist the Director and Registered Manager and other staff in maintaining the identified principles and standards of care and support.
To maintain the staff code of practice issued by Skills for Care
To assist in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating clients' individual care and support plans, including risk assessments.
To dispense prescribed medication to clients
To assist in maintaining accurate and appropriate documentation
To undertake infection control training and uphold infection control standards
To assist in meal preparation/serving for clients
To support clients with social activities
About You
We're looking for someone who:
Holds a
Level 2 or 3 Diploma (or equivalent)
in Health and Social Care (essential*) Has
previous experience
working in a Mental Health residential care role (essential*) Is willing to undertake training (e.g. Moving & Handling, Safeguarding, Infection Control, Medication and other mandatory training)
Communicates effectively and works well in a team
Can work independently with a positive attitude and food time management skills
