We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide exceptional care and assistance to individuals with learning disabilities in our care home environment. Duties

Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support Provide specialised care for individuals with learning disabilities, mental health disabilities and other cognitive impairments Support patients with medication administration following prescribed protocols Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements Manage behaviour effectively through compassionate behaviour management techniques Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment Drive clients to appointments or activities as required, ensuring safe transportation Offer emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being Respond promptly to emergency situations using first aid skills when necessary

Experience

Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home care, or home care is highly desirable Knowledge of caring for individuals with learning disabilities and/or mental health issues is advantageous Familiarity with medication administration and basic first aid procedures is beneficial Valid driving licence is desirable for roles involving client transportation Candidates with experience in meal preparation and behaviour management are encouraged to apply
