Hi, I'm Dean -- and I'm Looking for a Buddy/Support Worker!

Hey there! I'm Dean, born in 1999, and I'm looking for someone friendly, reliable, and supportive to join me on my journey to becoming more independent. I've got loads of interests and hobbies, and I'd love to find someone who's up for sharing some of them with me -- or just being a great companion.

A Bit About Me:

I'm passionate about

woodwork

-- I love getting stuck into creative projects. I enjoy

stunt scootering

and hanging out at the

local skate park

. I'm a big fan of

live music

, especially

drum and bass

, and I love going to events to see my favourite DJs. I love being

outdoors

, walking in nature, relaxing on the beach, and

swimming in the sea

when I'm on holiday. I have a close relationship with my mum -- she's a big part of my life.

I sustained a

hypoxic brain injury

at birth and I've been

hearing impaired

all my life. I wear hearing aids and lip read well. I'm looking for someone who can support me with

daily living tasks

, help me explore new activities, and encourage me to keep doing the things I love -- like

skateboarding, surfing, swimming

, and of course,

woodwork

.
