What\xe2\x80\x99s the Role: Support Worker

What It Takes:

An important part of the staff role is to support our service users who have complex needs and help them to manage their emotions.

So the ability to be resilient, to communicate effectively and to utilise a variety of communication tools is essential.

Our dedicated staff team support our service users to learn and develop their independence skills which includes tasks such as shopping, cleaning their flat, personal care, accessing the community, budgeting, taking medication. Each staff member has something to bring to the role and we encourage staff to use their humour and sense of fun and creativity in supporting our service users with day to day life.

Where You Would Work: The Courtyard, Crumlin

Our service in Crumlin caters for adults with learning disabilities and behaviours which may present as challenging. We encourage the service users to develop their skills and knowledge, and promote their independence. We work alongside the service users to take part in social activities such as; swimming, cinema, social groups, arts and crafts, gym, concerts and many other activities.

Salary Details:

Support Worker |

Full Time, Part Time and Relief Contracts available |

*\xc2\xa321,557 per annum

*Salary based on 39 hours per week. Where the role requires sleep-ins, a minimum additional payment of \xc2\xa345.00 per night applies.
