Our Service Users all have complex healthcare needs and therefore this candidate will be happy to undertake extensive in-house and online training. This person will be able to complete moving and handling tasks with ease and have a 'hands on' and 'can do' attitude.

We have an exciting opportunity to join an established team supporting our client in Thetford.

The Job Role:



Our Client lives with his Mum and Dog in their own home. Our client is a happy, sociable young man who enjoys a wide range of activities, including going for walks, drives in the car, watching movies, and listening to music. He also has a wonderful garden space where he loves to spend time and there is lots to keep him occupied there.

Our client requires support workers who are able to support him to access the community so a Full UK Drivers license is essential, this position requires support workers who ideally will have knowledge of Epilepsy (Full extensive training will be given) to manage and monitor his Epilepsy and other health conditions whilst empowering him to achieve his goals and live a fulfilling life.

Interventions - Continence Care, Personal Care, Medication Administration, Meal Preparation, Awareness of seizure activity.

Alternate weekends would be compulsory.

Shift times



Day Shifts / Night shifts available.

Responsibilities:



Personal care including bowel management Medication management Social interaction Completion of daily recording paperwork Reporting safeguarding concerns Excellent communication with the Nurse Lead and Care co-ordinator
