Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker for night shift to join our team at Briery Park Care Home. The ideal candidate will provide essential care and assistance to individuals within care home. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for those in need of support, particularly seniors and individuals with specific care requirements such as dementia.

24/7 Digital Rota in place with shifts displayed up to 6 month's in advance.

No experience required as full training will be provided

Full time Shift patterns. 7pm-7am, 8pm-8am, 9pm-7am, 10pm-8am.

4pm-10pm, weekends only available.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients with daily living activities. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation. Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Document client progress and report any changes in health or behaviour to the appropriate professionals. Collaborate with families and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.

Skills

Experience in dementia care is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients of all ages. Previous experience in care settings is advantageous. Knowledge of first aid practices is beneficial. Ability to perform meal preparation and assist with dietary needs. Familiarity with home care practices and care home environments is a plus.
