What You'll Do
As a Support Worker, you'll be part of a dedicated team in our Ofsted-registered Supported Accommodation Home in Torquay, providing 24/7 support.
Your role will include:
Supporting young people and with daily routines, education, and personal development.
Promoting positive activities and community involvement.
Acting as a role model and advocate.
Contributing to support plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding.
Working shifts including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Aged 21+
Right to work in the UK
Full UK manual driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance
Calm under pressure and confident in residential care settings
Understanding of safeguarding, child development, and behaviour management
Desirable:
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, Youth Work, or Education
Enhanced portable DBS
Knowledge of welfare benefits, housing options, and mental health issues
Interests or hobbies you can share with young people (e.g. cooking, sports, music)
