As a valued Support Worker, you will be part of an inclusive team supporting adults with a learning disability. You will play a key role in helping people achieve their personal goals, aims, and ambitions. No two days are the same, because everyone we support is unique.
Your role may include:
Helping individuals develop new skills Providing personal and emotional support Supporting people to plan and manage their own homes Assisting with leisure, employment, and individual interests Enabling travel and engagement within the community
For this role, you will be supporting a gentleman in his own home with day-to-day living tasks such as meal preparation, medication, household duties, and attending appointments. You will also support him to engage in community activities.

Sleep-in shifts are required as part of this role.

No previous experience or qualifications required, Free, Skills for Care endorsed full training will be provided Compassionate, caring, confident and resilient Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Self-starter, with a high level of motivation Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
