Support Worker

Our teams provide individualised care and support for people with learning disabilities, autistic people and people with physical disabilities living in their community. At Winston Court, our residential care home in Pinkeys Green, we support

eight

people with learning disabilities. We recognise that each person has unique interests, needs and preferences, and we support our customers to be self-sufficient and work closely with them and their support networks to explore options to help them reach their goals.

We are recruiting for a

support worker

to work

part-time

waking nights (2 per week) - shift hours are 9.30pm to 7am.

Your role will be to support our customers through the night and could include assisting with evening routines and managing medication, as well as supporting with emotional and physical wellbeing. The role will also include domestic duties, such as cleaning and preparing the service for the following day's activities, and ensuring the safety and security of the building throughout the night.

Experience in the care sector would be beneficial but is not necessary as full training is provided, including classroom-based learning, shadowing experienced staff and online sessions.
