Job Description

Core Purpose
To represent Fertility Network UK in Wales, promoting the charities services and providing moral support and advice for beneficiaries. To co-ordinate role applicable volunteer activities by liaising with individuals, community groups, relevant agencies, health care professionals, hospitals/clinics. To collate and report on statistics, feedback and data for use in funding bids and annual reports.

Applicants should be based in or around Wales

. Position is home based with occasional travel throughout Wales.

Key Responsibilities



Provide support services to beneficiaries by way of our support groups, social media platforms, online chat function and phone services.

Monitor and evaluate services in Wales and support the Senior Support Coordinator in the development of programmes and initiatives to meet needs across the country.

Assist with the recruitment and management of volunteers.

Provide administrative support to the Senior Support Coordinator.

Support our Fertility in the Workplace initiative in Wales.

Identify opportunities for stakeholder engagement and develop these relationships.

Attend community events and activities.

Ensure all emails, telephone calls, texts, Facebook, Health Unlocked, and other electronic messages are answered promptly and in a sympathetic and informative manner.

Key skills:



Sound organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work on own initiative, being self-motivated and able to priorities' effectively to meet deadlines

Experience of representing an organisation and developing relationships.

Understanding of the needs and demands of a charity.

Able to produce tailored reports, presentations and spreadsheets.

Experience of using Microsoft a bonus.

Excellent written and oral presentation skills.

Experience of using a database/spreadsheets to record data.

Excellent numeracy skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Educated to A level standard (or equivalent).

A good understanding of the challenges facing those who are affected by difficulties in conceiving.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 48 months

Pay: 17,485.71 per year

Expected hours: 24 per week
