About the Role

As a

Support Worker

, you'll be part of a committed care team that ensures residents' personal care needs are met with dignity and respect. You'll promote independence, enhance well-being, and help create a warm, safe, and engaging home environment.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting residents with personal care, supporting mealtimes and activities, and maintaining a clean and comfortable living space. You'll play a key role in promoting residents' independence and happiness.

Reports to:

Nurse / Senior Support Worker

Key Responsibilities

Provide personal care and emotional support to residents in line with their individual care plans. Promote residents' dignity, choice, and independence at all times. Assist with daily living tasks such as washing, dressing, and mobility. Support residents with mealtimes, social activities, and general companionship. Maintain accurate care records and report any changes in residents' health or well-being. Follow health and safety, safeguarding, and infection control procedures at all times. Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a consistently high standard of care.

Skills and Attributes

A caring, patient, and empathetic nature. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to remain calm and supportive under pressure. Previous care experience preferred, but not essential -- full training provided.
