We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join the growing team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, residential homes, and private residences. This position requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients, particularly those with specific needs such as Learning Disability's and other complex needs.

Duties

As a Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration. Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients. Supporting individuals with Learning Disability and Autism through behaviour management techniques. Ensuring a safe environment by following health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary. Collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care tailored to individual needs. Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in client conditions.

Experience

Candidates should possess experience in one or more of the following areas:

Experience in a Residential Care setting Experience in Supported Living setting Minimum of 6 month care experience within the UK (mandatory) Medication Administration Experience Experience with individuals with a diagnosis of Learning Disability/Autism
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.50-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 - 48 per week
