Support Workers

As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in helping individuals live fulfilling, independent lives. You'll provide person-centred care and practical support, encouraging independence and promoting inclusion within the community.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day care and emotional support to individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism. Assist with personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks while respecting individual dignity and preferences. Support people to participate in activities that promote their well-being and independence -- such as social outings, hobbies, and education or employment opportunities. Help individuals develop life skills, including budgeting, cooking, and maintaining a home. Maintain accurate records and ensure all care plans are followed in accordance with company and regulatory standards. Communicate effectively with families, colleagues, and external professionals to ensure continuity of care. Promote a safe, caring, and supportive environment that values each individual's choices and rights.

What We're Looking For

A caring, patient, and reliable nature. Good communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in a support or care role is desirable, but

full training will be provided

. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
